Pippa's Story - pet shop pup

We purchased a papillion x maltese (Pippa) for $750 from a pet shop in Perth 4 weeks ago.  We took her to the vets the next day for the 48hr vet check information as per the pet shops advice, to be told she had a skin condition like pimple on a teenager. We were given some cream for that.

Pippa passed away last Tuesday 21/10/08 in my arms at 6.20am. I only got three weeks of loving her.

I took her to the vets for an autopsy and found out she died from herpes, passed to my little one from her mother at the time of birth. I have informed the pet shop of the autopsy results and awaiting to hear a response, but I am having a hard time getting hold of the owner as now every time I ring she’s not there. I have now left 3 messages awaiting her return call.

Please use my story to warn others of the heartbreak of buying from a pet store.
